Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Regional Head of Human Resources to lead our HR Europe team. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the team, implementing process enhancements, and servicing client requests.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Regional HR Europe team in its day-to-day activities.
  2. Supervision and Coaching: Supervise and coach team members, ensuring knowledge transfer across the teams.
  3. Compliance and Legislation: Ensure compliance with local labour laws and stay up-to-date with legislation changes.
  4. Process Optimization: Lead and guide the team in optimizing HR processes and tasks related to the employee lifecycle to ensure efficiency.
  5. HR Operations: Administer all HR operation processes, related systems, and documentation.
  6. External Providers and Budgets: Manage external providers and budgets related to HR operations.
  7. Complex HR Concerns: Manage complex HR operational concerns and act as the escalation point prior to the Head of HR.
  8. Advice and Instruction: Provide advice and instruction to employees on HR matters.
  9. Process and Policy Upgrades: Implement and drive process, policy, and document upgrades.
  10. Employee Relations and Legal Matters: Manage complex employee relation cases and legal matters, escalating more complex issues as needed.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Proven experience working in HR Operations or a related field for at least 8-10 years with increasing levels of responsibility, degree in HR or a related field.
  2. Leadership Skills: Leadership skills with experience in leading and guiding a team.
  3. Project Management: Proven experience in managing projects relating to process, systems, and/or control improvements.
  4. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for effectively supporting and advising employees and businesses on HR matters.
  5. Communication and Presentation: Effective communication and presentation skills while collaborating, communicating, and presenting to stakeholders across different functions and all levels of seniority in an international setting.
  6. Coaching and Feedback: Experience in coaching more junior members, while providing proactive, constructive upward and downward feedback.
  7. Language Skills: Proficiency in English required; proficiency in German preferred.
