Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Media Assistant to join our team at Villanova University. As a key member of our Office of Student Involvement, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing marketing and branding strategies to promote our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and branding campaigns to promote the Office of Student Involvement.
  • Manage and maintain the office's social media presence, including creating engaging content and responding to comments and messages.
  • Design eye-catching graphics and visual materials for newsletters, social media, and other promotional materials.
  • Capture and edit high-quality videos and photos to showcase campus events and activities.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director to develop and implement special projects and events.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to discuss progress and provide feedback.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or other similar software.
  • Interest in social media trends and design principles.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or video editing software.
  • Skills in videography, photography, and editing.
Working Conditions

This is a paid hourly position based out of the Office of Student Involvement in Dougherty Hall. The ideal candidate will be able to work a minimum of 6 hours per week and be available to participate in weekly meetings.
