We are in search of a Graduate Field Application Engineer in Italy to join our innovative team. This role is part of a comprehensive 12-month program tailored for recent graduates who have completed their studies within the last two years and are eager to engage in a hands-on learning experience. Throughout this period, participants will gain practical experience, enhance both technical and interpersonal skills, and connect with industry experts.

As a Technical Field Application Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Arrow's products and services, guiding customers in selecting the appropriate components and solutions for their needs.
  • Problem Resolution: Assist customers in diagnosing technical challenges and providing effective solutions tailored to their requirements.
  • Design Support: Collaborate with customers to create and refine custom solutions that align with their specifications.
  • Product Validation: Partner with suppliers to ensure products meet customer standards through activities such as schematic reviews and pre-compliance testing.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with customers and internal teams to develop and implement solutions that fulfill customer expectations.
  • Customer Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact between customers and suppliers, ensuring clear communication of requirements.
  • Cost Optimization: Provide recommendations on mechanical solutions to enhance the cost-effectiveness of Bills of Material (BOM) and improve part availability.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess the legal right to work in the country of the position.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering, obtained within the last two years or expected in the near future.
  • Proficiency in both Italian and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of Electronics Engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with current technologies and market trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage proactively with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and platforms with a creative mindset.
  • Experience with 3D design software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, or Inventor is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as required.
  • A genuine passion for learning new technologies and tackling new challenges.
