About the Role

Arrow Electronics Italia S.r.l. (fka Silverstar S.r.l.) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graduate Technical Field Application Engineer to join our team in Italy. As a Technical Field Application Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and expertise to our customers, helping them to design and develop custom solutions that meet their unique specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical knowledge and guidance to customers on Arrow's products, services, and solutions.
  • Help customers troubleshoot technical issues and offer practical solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Assist customers in designing and developing custom solutions that meet their unique specifications.
  • Engage suppliers to assist with product validation to ensure that the products meet the customer's requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and suppliers, ensuring that the customer's requirements are understood and met.
  • Suggest mechanical solutions and techniques which can benefit the overall cost of the Bills Of Material (BOM) or improve availability of parts in respect to lead times.
Requirements
  • You must have a legal right to work in the country where the position is located.
  • You have obtained or will obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering related studies in 2024 or not more than 2 years ago.
  • You must be fluent in Italian and English (oral & written).
  • You must have sound knowledge of concepts in Electronics Engineering.
  • You must have a good understanding of latest technologies and trends in the market.
  • You must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, be able to interact proactively with the team and external stakeholders.
  • You must be able to learn new platforms and systems with an innovative approach.
  • You must be able to develop customized specifications utilizing 3D software like AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor...
  • You must be able to support customers' designers with technical proposals within specific macro-technologies.
  • You must be flexible and have geographical mobility.
  • You must be a creative, outside-the-box thinker who brings something new to the table and is not afraid to share those ideas.
  • You must have a real and innate passion to learn new technologies, a strong attitude for new and different challenges, be the best in what you learn.
