As a Plant Manager at Trane Technologies, you will be responsible for leading the overall operation of the plant in accordance with company strategies and policies. Your key objectives will include establishing and achieving short- and long-term goals, ensuring the viability of the organization, and producing customer orders in compliance with safety, quality, costs, and deadlines.

  • Results of a production site: Safety, financial, on-time delivery, maintenance of quality levels, operational productivity, and the establishment of the capacity of manufacturing processes aligned with customer demands.
  • Safety and Environment: Production of the units, supply chain part: order book management, material management, and unit shipments to customers.
  • Manufacturing methods and processes as well as continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring and organizing: Management of a team of managers related to the activity of a production site, employee health and safety, identification and implementation of environmental projects, monitoring of quality indicators, development of plant policies and procedures, and guidance on their implementation.
  • Implementation of Lean indicators, monitoring the order book and adjusting the workforce, daily monitoring of production results in terms of costs, quality, and deadlines, regular reporting as required per company standards, identification and follow-up of continuous process improvement projects in alignment with transformation and investment plans, follow-up of new product introduction projects.

  • Proficiency in Windchill, Oracle R12, MES, and office pack (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
  • Knowledge of ERP, PLM tools, and their general functioning.
  • Knowledge of the order cycle and the different impacts at each stage.
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
  • In-depth knowledge of Lean tools.
  • Product knowledge.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of Quality processes.
  • Knowledge of Informatic Systems.
