Job Summary

San Clemente Palace Kempinski Venice is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance and engineering functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of maintenance engineers to ensure high levels of performance, quality of work, and attendance.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Coordinate and manage the day-to-day repair and maintenance of the hotel's building engineering assets, including Fire, Life and Safety systems equipment.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the hotel's building and equipment are in good working order.
  • Communication: Efficiently communicate repair and maintenance status to the Assistant Director of Engineering on a daily basis.
  • Training and Development: Ensure all engineering team members receive regular training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure all public areas are patrolled daily and all lighting is in good order to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Energy Conservation: Develop and maintain an energy conservation program to meet the hotel's annual budget target.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative duties such as leading and attending meetings, writing reports and memos, and other specific duties related to the job function.
Requirements
  • Education: Certified technical diploma in mechanical (HVAC) or electrical.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years in building or plant maintenance, in a similar position or promoted internally.
  • Language: Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment: Italian – excellent oral and written skills (as applicable), English – excellent oral and written skills.
