Role Overview:
As the Head of Marketing for Italy at Qonto, you will spearhead our extensive marketing initiatives to reinforce our standing as a frontrunner in fintech solutions within the Italian market. Your strategic foresight will be pivotal in propelling our growth and will have a direct impact on our market share, brand perception, user acquisition, and engagement in one of our key markets.

Key Responsibilities:
In this crucial leadership position, you will ensure that our local marketing strategies are harmoniously aligned with our sales and partnership teams in Italy, as well as with our central branding and acquisition teams. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Collaborating with the Managing Director for Italy to devise and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our overall business goals, enhancing our brand presence and supporting go-to-market initiatives to drive commercial success.
2. Working closely with central branding and acquisition teams to maintain consistency in messaging, leveraging insights from various markets to ensure relevance and growth.
3. Coordinating local initiatives, including new partnership launches and go-to-market plans, in collaboration with sales and partnership teams to ensure that marketing strategies effectively support sales objectives.
4. Supporting the Product Marketing Manager for Italy with product launches tailored for the Italian market.
5. Overseeing local projects such as brand activation events and Qonto initiatives, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration within your team.
6. Managing and mentoring a diverse team of approximately 10 marketing professionals, including specialists in PR, communications, content, social media, and event management, while promoting a data-driven mindset.
7. Utilizing data-driven insights to inform decisions and assess the effectiveness of marketing activities.
8. Representing Qonto's marketing interests at industry events and in media interactions to enhance our company's visibility.

About Your Future Manager:
Your manager, the Managing Director for Italy, is recognized for his strategic acumen and supportive leadership approach. His experience in scaling sales and marketing operations across various markets will provide valuable mentorship throughout your journey.

About You:
Experience: You possess a proven track record of at least 8 years in leading marketing teams and developing strategies that foster brand growth and enhance customer acquisition and engagement.

Leadership: You are an adept manager who excels in nurturing talent and leading cross-functional teams.

Cross-Functional Coordination: You have strong coordination skills and experience collaborating with sales and partnership teams, as well as aligning with central marketing units.

Industry Knowledge: Your background includes working in fast-paced, tech-focused environments, ideally within scale-ups in fintech or related sectors.

Communication: You have excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company at all organizational levels.

Language Skills: You are fluent in English and Italian, with proficiency in French being a plus.
