Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Marketing Activation Manager to coordinate and implement marketing plans targeted to retailers and shoppers in Italy. The successful candidate will champion and communicate brand activation plans to local sales teams and manage product portfolio execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a detailed understanding of the Italian market using global insights and local data to drive business growth.
  • Work with Senior Brand Managers to build annual marketing plans and ensure local deployment and roll-out of strategies.
  • Build a winning program of activities and initiatives that drive consumer and shopper interest to meet agreed sales and margin targets.
  • Develop impactful ATL campaigns and leverage central Visibility tools and assets to provide best-in-class retail presence and in-store communication.
  • Develop and oversee implementation of local consumer activation programs for the portfolio.
  • Work closely with local sales teams to maximize opportunities and ensure effective implementation of strategies and plans within major channels and customers.
  • Coordinate with and manage local creative/activation agencies as required.
  • Analyze and evaluate implementation of key plans and activities on business and brand equity to maximize effectiveness and provide future improvement.
  • Manage all aspects of portfolio management, including product range, pricing, range optimization, promotional packs, and new product launches.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Solid evidence of working in consumer goods marketing, including implementation of brand plans, consumer activation programs, new product launches, A&P budget management, marketing activity analysis & evaluations, and product management.
  • Exposure to working directly with customers and sales teams.
  • High level of computer skills and presentation skills.
  • Experience of analyzing and utilizing trade audit data.
  • Demonstrated competencies in critical thinking, collaboration, influence, customer focus, and achieving results in alignment with business goals.
  • Italian native or bilingual proficiency, with English full professional proficiency and French proficiency a plus.
