About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Brand Activation Manager to join our Global Marketing Activation team in Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing marketing plans targeted to retailers and shoppers to deliver in-store excellence and drive business growth for our brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a detailed understanding of all aspects of the market using global insights and local category, trade, shopper, and consumer data to provide competitive advantage.
- Work with Senior Brand Manager to build the annual Marketing Plans and ensure local deployment and roll-out of strategies.
- Build a winning program of activities and initiatives in line with global direction and International marketing cycle plan that drives consumer and shopper interest to meet agreed sales and margin targets.
- Develop impactful ATL campaigns and proactively leverage any ATL spend in market plans.
- Adapt and leverage central Visibility tools and assets to provide best-in-class retail presence and in-store communication.
- Develop and oversee implementation of local consumer activation programs for the portfolio.
- Work closely with local sales teams to maximize opportunities and ensure effective implementation of strategies and plans within major channels and customers.
- Coordinate with and manage local creative/activation agencies as required.
- Analyze and evaluate implementation of key plans and activities on business and brand equity to maximize effectiveness and provide future improvement.
- Manage all aspects of portfolio management, including product range, pricing, range optimization, promotional packs, and new product launches.
Requirements
- Master's degree in business, marketing, or similar discipline.
- Solid evidence of working in consumer goods marketing, including implementation of brand plans, consumer activation programs, new product launches, A&P budget management, marketing activity analysis and evaluations, and product management.
- Exposure to working directly with customers and sales teams.
- High level of computer skills and presentation skills.
- Experience of analyzing and utilizing trade audit data.
- Demonstrated competencies in critical thinking, collaboration, influence, customer focus, and achieving results in alignment with business goals.
- Italian native or bilingual proficiency/English full professional proficiency/French proficiency is a real plus.
