We are seeking a talented Training and Development Coordinator to join our team at Maersk. This exciting role will involve coordinating effective learning, training, and development actions to support the achievement of business objectives.

About the Role

In this role, you will conduct needs analysis studies and collaborate with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and development plans. You will also formulate training policies, programs, and schedules, as well as organize and develop training manuals, reference libraries, testing, and evaluation procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate effective learning, training, and development actions to support business objectives
  • Conduct needs analysis studies and collaborate with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and development plans
  • Formulate training policies, programs, and schedules
  • Organize and develop training manuals, reference libraries, testing, and evaluation procedures
  • Manage and coordinate the organization of mandatory and non-mandatory trainings as per law and policy
  • Research and select outside consultants and trainers to conduct training in specific topics
  • Work with line managers to identify and plan the development of staff with high potential
  • Perform training analysis as required
  • Elaborate and monitor the annual training budget in coordination with HR and Finance
  • Assist in evaluation and recommendation of assessment tools
  • Lead specific development projects from start to end

We are looking for someone with experience and a strong interest in training and development topics in matrix organizations. You will have a high level of planning and organizational skills, as well as extensive knowledge of funds, development tools, and instructional practices. You will also be able to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an attitude to understand the effect of decisions overall in the company. Requirements
  • Former experience and strong interest in training and development topics in matrix organizations
  • High level of planning and organizational skills
  • Extensive knowledge of funds, development tools, and instructional practices
  • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment
  • Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
