Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The role involves representing the quality department within technical support, collaborating with various internal teams to address manufacturing challenges on a global scale.

Act as a bridge between Jabil Circuit and suppliers or clients concerning worldwide quality matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Formulate and uphold Quality Assurance plans and timelines for global product launches, utilizing Advanced Product Quality Planning and Process Optimization tailored to customer needs.
  • Engage in all quoting processes by contributing to the initial design, development, and execution phases.
  • Assess and offer insights into inspection methodologies through the use of inspection tools and procedural guidelines.
  • Support global training initiatives specific to customers by creating and executing specialized training sessions for relevant teams.
  • Establish suitable systems for document management, accessibility, and review related to global customer accounts.
  • Analyze all supply chain, internal, and customer discrepancies, coordinating and monitoring the effectiveness of corrective and proactive measures.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of all documentation; develop efficient systems for document management and access.
  • Evaluate all supplier or customer discrepancies, coordinating and tracking corrective and preventive action initiatives.
  • Participate in vendor assessment activities as necessary, promoting proactive engagement with suppliers and assisting in their process enhancement efforts when feasible.
  • Collaborate with all departments as relevant to the established Policies and Procedures.
  • Provide expertise and support in implementing and sustaining Process Improvement and Optimization with a focus on proactive strategies.
  • Aid in the standardization of manufacturing processes for global customer accounts.
  • Provide technical support on quality concerns with customers as required.
  • Follow all safety and health regulations associated with this role as directed by the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all protocols within the company’s security policy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree is mandatory along with five years of relevant experience; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
