Job Title: Assistant Front Office Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team at the Anglo American, Curio Collection by Hilton Florence. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day staffing needs, plan and assign work, and provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to improve team member performance.
  • Educate and train team members in compliance with national and local laws and safety regulations, ensuring staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties.
  • Ensure your front office team delivers a great service, professional attention, and personal recognition to our guests.
  • Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback, and build relationships to drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the front office and public areas, taking immediate actions to correct any deficiencies.
  • Develop plans to increase occupancy and ADR through walk-ins and upselling at the front desk.
  • Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy, ensuring all transactions are handled in a secure manner.
Requirements:
  • Preferred working experience with similar roles in International Luxury Hotel Brands.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification in Hotel Management or Business Administration, plus 1 year of Front Office/Guest Service experience, including supervisory experience.
  • Accounting and mathematics skills for accurate auditing and payment processing.
  • Knowledge of OnQ PMS.
  • Problem-solving with strong verbal communication and good listening skills, for effective and pleasant interactions with guests and staff.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, offers, and the local area.
  • Must be fluent in English and Italian language, other languages preferred.
  • Ambassador for loyalty program.
  • Gentlemen Leader with emotional intelligence skills.
  • Passion for the hospitality field and excellence in luxury service.
  • Flexibility.
