Position Overview

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients by addressing technical challenges that enable researchers to make impactful discoveries. Your contributions will ensure that laboratories operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to customer requests by performing repairs, installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
  • Communicate with customers in a timely manner to schedule services efficiently.
  • Collaborate with management and sales teams to understand and fulfill customer expectations.
  • Uphold Agilent's reputation for exceptional customer service by adhering to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks and reports accurately and on time.
  • Provide constructive feedback to Product Specialists and manufacturers regarding any performance issues encountered.
  • Proactively address customer service requests and maintain communication throughout the service process.

This position involves remote work combined with travel to client locations, primarily in the Lazio region and the southern parts of Italy. A company vehicle will be provided for travel purposes.

Qualifications:

We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

  • A university degree in a field related to Chemistry (e.g., Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology).
  • Hands-on experience with atomic spectroscopy (ICP-MS, ICP-OES) as an end-user or in a similar technical support capacity.
  • Fluency in Italian and at least an intermediate level of English.
  • A valid driving license.
