Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Consolidation Controller to assist the Consolidation Team in the development and oversight of Bottega Veneta's consolidated financial statements, as well as conducting inventory and margin evaluations. This role offers the chance to be part of the Worldwide Controlling team, reporting directly to the Head of Consolidation based in Milan. You will collaborate with various departments, including Supply Chain, Logistics, Merchandising, Inventory Control, Industrial Control, and Regional finance teams, along with Kering teams in Paris.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and consolidate reporting packages on a monthly basis, which includes top management reports and additional disclosures to the Kering team;
  • Analyze data related to product margins across different channels, products, and regions, while working closely with the Industrial team;
  • Provide support to Regional and HQ teams regarding inventory management and key performance indicators;
  • Assist the Accounting department with reporting requirements;
  • Collaborate on planning activities for Budget and Forecast processes;
  • Work with all relevant departments within HQ and the Regional finance community;
  • Engage with Kering teams in Paris for various initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in audit firms or in the controlling/reporting departments of retail or manufacturing companies, preferably in the fashion sector.
  • Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (knowledge of Italian GAAP is advantageous).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, PowerBI (or similar BI tools), and SAP FMS; familiarity with Hyperion and JDA is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Dependable, resilient, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Fluent in both Italian and English (written and spoken); knowledge of French is a plus.
