PURPOSE & IMPACT ON ORGANIZATION:

  • The Brand Center Store Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the adidas brand experience by supporting the Senior Manager in managing a high-volume, strategically positioned store.
  • The role represents the adidas brand and product in the most impactful way, ensuring that every interaction with consumers is exceptional and aligned with the brand's vision.
  • The Brand Center Store Manager works closely with the Market and Global teams to implement the strategic direction of the Brand Center concept, driving business growth and brand awareness.

DRIVING BRAND EXPERIENCE:

  • Amplify the adidas brand through every decision and action, ensuring that every consumer interaction is a positive and memorable experience.
  • Ensure event and visual merchandising execution at the highest standards, creating an immersive brand experience that resonates with consumers.
  • Fuel the brand passion within the team, inspiring a culture of excellence and dedication to the adidas brand.
  • Support and embody the adidas brand values, demonstrating retail skills that exceed consumer expectations.

DRIVING STORE PROFITABILITY:

  • Meet or exceed store sales and profit targets, driving business growth and brand awareness through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
  • Support the management of all resources within the designated area, providing consumers with a leading shopping experience that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.
  • Drive the proper execution of established policies, procedures, initiatives, and directives, ensuring that every aspect of the store operation is aligned with the brand's vision and values.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Deliver exceptional consumer experiences tailored to the adidas brand, ensuring outstanding execution of global brand and retail operational standards.
  • Foster a positive culture in the store, supporting the Senior Manager to enable the team to create a consumer-centered, authentic, active culture that resonates with consumers.
  • Understand the concept and strategic importance of the Brand Center store, thinking broadly when supporting the direction of the store team and creating brand advocacy.
  • Provide regular input to the Senior Manager, allowing for feedback to different departments and global teams to achieve the Brand Center ambition.
  • Support and coach associates within the designated area to drive sales and meet key performance indicators, ensuring that every team member is empowered to deliver exceptional consumer experiences.
  • Support Store Management Team to hire, develop, and build high-performing employees, driving a culture of excellence and dedication to the adidas brand.
  • Support Senior Manager to foster a collaborative working relationship with both the global and the Market Retail teams, driving business growth and brand awareness through effective partnerships and collaborations.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the Senior Manager and wider Retail team on success and feasibility of current and new programs, other initiatives, and specific store needs, ensuring that every aspect of the store operation is aligned with the brand's vision and values.
  • Communicate and provide visibility on product needs/other operational needs and opportunities to the Senior Manager for the designated area, driving business growth and brand awareness through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and partner within the local community to promote the adidas brand and store awareness, driving business growth and brand awareness through effective partnerships and collaborations.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of all global programs, initiatives, and strategies within the Brand Center store, ensuring that every aspect of the store operation is aligned with the brand's vision and values.
  • Support Senior Manager with leveraging global and local tools to lead the performance management, succession, recruiting, hiring, and development activities, resulting in high employee engagement and a culture of excellence.
  • Promote a high-performance culture in the Brand Center by supporting the clear expectations set, holding employees accountable, creating an effective and efficient work environment, and supporting goals that focus the team on key drivers that impact success.
  • Support training and execution in store in all designated areas, including business, operations, sales/customer service, and visual merchandising, while also coordinating with Regional Trainer to ensure all employees are trained in Retail Standards.
  • Support the timely completion of all record keeping associated with applicants, new hires, payroll, performance appraisals, counselling, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring that every aspect of the store operation is aligned with the brand's vision and values.
