Control Center Associate

Hitachi Rail STS S.p.A. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Control Center & Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Genoa, Italy. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our railway systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for remote and centralized maintenance activities, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimizing downtime.
- Coordinate and execute corrective and preventive maintenance tasks, including logistics and spares management.
- Monitor and analyze reliability and maintainability figures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Update and maintain software and hardware configurations, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance activities and performance metrics.
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent technical background.
- 0-3 years of experience in maintenance activities or equivalent.
- Strong testing and fault-finding skills, with the ability to investigate incidents and accidents.
- Knowledge of technologies, maintenance procedures, and railway safety rules and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems, as well as hardware infrastructure and virtualized environments.
- Fluent in English, with Italian as a native language.
