Job Description

In TD SYNNEX, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales specialist to join our team on a maternity cover period. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our PC business, developing strong relationships with resellers and vendors, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with resellers and vendors through proactive engagement and product knowledge.
  • Generate new business opportunities by planning and executing outbound calls to customers.
  • Engage in active inside selling by gathering customer information and developing short, medium, and long-term activities.
  • Manage reporting and customer backorder, leveraging specialist knowledge and skills.
  • Provide product information, pricing, and promotions to customers, ensuring accurate and timely quotations.
  • Ensure TD SYNNEX maintains service level agreements with customers.
  • Attain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as customer engagement.
  • Sell the benefits of using TD SYNNEX and the company value proposition.
  • Develop partner relationships, including account planning and cross-selling.
  • Generate and own a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEX's CRM system, regularly reviewing and updating opportunities.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the IT sector.
  • Passion for the IT selling ecosystem, with a knowledge of product sets desirable but not essential.
  • Pro-activeness and motivation to learn and perform in a sales environment.
  • Understanding of sales processes.
  • Excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Priority management and planning skills.
  • Strive to achieve set targets.
  • Good relationship building skills.
  • Fluent Italian and good English language skills.
