The Railway industry is undergoing significant growth, driven by environmental challenges, population growth, and increasing demands for mobility. As a Train Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of diverse technologies, guaranteeing optimal interfaces, and facilitating flexible implementation and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Representing the TVE on board the train during validations and certification tests.
  • Preparing the test implementation, including staffing, tool availability, and on-board spare parts.
  • Ensuring the train and its environment are capable of completing the test.
  • Giving instructions to the driver.
  • Producing failure reports to the Tests Manager.
  • Creating the test book, documenting test events chronology.
  • Coordinating on-board actors and ensuring the safety of all personnel involved.
  • Managing the First Aid Box and knowing emergency response channels.
  • Ensuring proper test train set configuration.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Graduated from a Technician or Engineering school, preferably in electrical/electronic.
  • Experience in managing occupational safety issues.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong communication and synthesis skills.
  • Availability for medium-long term travel abroad.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of railway operations.
  • Experience in tests on vehicles.
