Teads is seeking an Automotive Sector Director to enhance our expanding Strategic Accounts division. This role will focus on establishing alliances and driving revenue growth with key automotive clients.

This position presents a unique opportunity to be part of a pioneering organization in full-funnel advertising solutions, which is currently experiencing significant global expansion. The automotive sector is a vital growth area, and the Automotive Sector Director will be responsible for nurturing both existing and new partnerships with major automotive brands.

Our advertising solutions are utilized by some of the largest global advertisers, including leading automotive companies.

The Automotive Sector Director will collaborate closely with the Agency Sales team to manage high-level agency relationships.

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Accounts, this individual will play a crucial role in shaping the #advertiserfirst strategy within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand collaborative relationships with top automotive businesses in the area.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on these automotive companies to provide tailored solutions that meet advertiser needs.
  • Ensure that Teads remains a top consideration for local clients, integrating our offerings into their core media strategies; foster relationships across key functions to promote understanding of our value proposition and aim for local/regional partnerships while leveraging global connections.
  • Maximize client media investments by working closely with the sales team to achieve local targets; ensure Teads is included in all core media plans, activation budgets for significant events, and new innovations.
  • Share insights and learnings with the global industry director and peers in other markets.

Additionally, you will:

  • Serve as an industry authority to drive vertical and client success through thought leadership.
  • Create and deliver consultative sales presentations that leverage industry knowledge and market trends alongside Teads' comprehensive solutions.
  • Enhance internal and external market insights and knowledge.
  • Engage proactively with industry committees and conferences.

Requirements:

  • Strong background and understanding of the automotive industry.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with key marketing and media decision-makers.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Demonstrated experience in fostering long-term sustainable partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of online video, display, and performance marketing.
  • Proven leadership skills to influence, develop, and empower team members towards achieving objectives collaboratively.
  • Ability to transition business from other media channels.
