About the Role

As part of the esteemed Luxury Group of Marriott International, we are seeking a Hospitality Welcome Specialist to join our pre-opening team comprised of dedicated and authentic hospitality professionals.

Reporting directly to the Lead Concierge, this position encompasses both doorman and bellman responsibilities.

  • This is a full-time role, requiring commitment for 5 days a week with 2 days off.

Our establishment is an unexpected oasis in the heart of the city, set to open its doors in the near future.

Designed by renowned Studio Urquiola, our hotel will feature 116 elegantly appointed guest rooms, including 15 luxurious suites. Behind a sophisticated façade lies a realm of international elegance, elevating the traditional hotel experience. We promise a blend of cosmopolitan luxury, genuine lifestyle, and timeless elegance.

Our culinary offerings will showcase a fusion of flavors and sounds from around the globe. Guests can savor authentic Japanese cuisine or indulge in exquisite Italian dishes crafted by a Michelin-starred chef. The rooftop bar will transform into a vibrant destination, featuring a pool and lounge areas that offer stunning views of the city skyline.

Your Impact

First impressions are paramount. We aim to ensure that guests' arrivals and departures are memorable. Our Hospitality Welcome Specialists are proactive in delivering a range of services that enhance the guest experience from arrival to departure. They are empowered to navigate their environment and address needs as they arise. Whether managing operational tasks, responding to guest inquiries, or sharing local insights, the Hospitality Welcome Specialist integrates these interactions into a seamless experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a sophisticated and genuine welcome and farewell to all guests entering or leaving the hotel.
  • Assist guests with their luggage, including loading, unloading, and delivering to rooms or designated areas, while providing a guided escort as needed.
  • Help guests in and out of vehicles, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Arrange transportation for guests and manage advance requests as necessary.
  • Communicate parking procedures and oversee the front driveway to maintain an orderly flow of traffic.
  • Ensure the hotel entrance is consistently clean and welcoming, as it is the first impression for arriving guests.
  • Look for opportunities to exceed guest expectations.

Qualifications

  • A friendly, people-oriented demeanor with a focus on teamwork.
  • A positive attitude and an outgoing personality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficient storytelling skills in English and at least intermediate proficiency in Italian, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience in a bellman or doorman role is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and other relevant software.
