Product Sales Manager

Chaberton Professionals, a leading recruiting division of Chaberton Partners, is seeking an experienced Product Sales Manager to drive the strategic direction and development of assigned product areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Product Portfolio Management: Develop and maintain a product portfolio optimized for various markets, analyzing potential, competition, and coordinating implementation strategies.
  • New Product Introduction: Collect market needs for potential new products, develop product/marketing launch plans, and coordinate the introduction of new products with the sales team.
  • Human Resource Management: Lead and manage Product Managers through coaching and professional development, conducting regular performance reviews and setting objectives aligned with company values.
  • Sales Support: Act as the contact point for the sales team on complex product requirements and key client needs.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Achieving product revenue and margin targets.
  • Identifying unprofitable products and taking corrective action.
  • Timely and successful launch of new products.
  • Team development and achievement of set objectives.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4-5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, product management, and team leadership.
  • Strong track record in developing and executing product and marketing strategies.
  • Technical training in mechanical engineering or production processes.
  • Experience in the wholesale of building materials industry will be considered a plus.
Language Skills:
  • Fluency in German, Italian, and at least one additional language (English, Spanish, or French) is required.

  • Strong decision-making, time management, and creativity skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict management abilities.
