Gucci MRTW Design Collection Development Manager

Job Opportunity

Based within the Design Office, you will oversee the MRTW collection product development processes, acting as a point of contact between the Design Office in Milan and the RTW Department in Novara. You will work closely with the Design Office to receive inputs and sketches for the new collection, bringing a deep technical point of view throughout the creation of the product. You will anticipate potential issues in collection development, strive for innovative solutions, and liaise daily with the Novara RTW Product Development and Pattern Making Department. You will also attend fitting meetings.

Requirements

  • Extensive post-qualification experience (at least 10 years) in a similar role
  • Deep technical knowledge of RTW collection development in luxury companies
  • A problem solver, able to prioritize workload and pay close attention to details
  • A collaborative individual able to build solid and effective relationships with multiple and diverse stakeholders
  • An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • A great team player, able to engage with teams and colleagues from different functions and at different levels in the company
  • Highly organized and with demonstrated thoroughness to ensure quality work
  • Willing to travel in Italy and abroad from time to time
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
