Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Commis Chef to join our culinary team at The Hoxton, Rome. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, while also contributing to the overall success of our restaurant and bar operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes to a high standard
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu ideas and concepts
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Participate in menu planning, inventory management, and cost control initiatives
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for guests

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
