Job Summary: As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of food service operations in our hotel. This includes overseeing a section of the kitchen, ensuring quality, preparation, and presentation of food meet our high standards, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a section of the kitchen and ensure it runs according to performance standards established by the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef.
  • Organize and set up the assigned section efficiently to increase speed and maximize productivity.
  • Ensure all items from that section are prepared consistently and according to standard product specifications.
  • Become familiar with all sections of the kitchen.
  • Ensure all fridges and/or freezers within the kitchen are kept tidy and organized at all times.
  • Ensure stock rotation is being carried out properly.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Italian and knowledge of English is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to run a section and manage a small team.
  • Organizational skills and effective communication with a team.
  • The job position does not include accommodation.
