Job Title: Chef de Partie Night

At Meliá Hotels International, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie Night to join our culinary team at the Gran Melia Hotel Palazzo Cordusio. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of food service, maintaining the highest standards of quality, and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menus, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring that all dishes are served promptly and to the satisfaction of our guests.
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery, including the front of house team and other kitchen staff.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a strong focus on quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
