About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and accelerating our customers' cloud journeys to drive business value and citizen outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers, sales, solutions architecture, and service teams to deliver technical solutions that solve complex technology problems.
  • Work with customer and internal stakeholders to scope work, set business goals, identify resources, track progress, and develop schedules.
  • Be a single point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders on the progress of all activities related to the customer.
  • Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, balance trade-offs, and encourage risk-tasking to maximize business value.
  • Evangelize the value of AWS cloud and influence customers to allocate leadership and resources to achieve their goals.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience leading and programme managing complex, large-scale IT/technical/platform programmes.
  • Prior experience working with or managing large technical programs, particularly in the Public Sector.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role (either as a supplier or delivering in a supplier-customer relationship inside an organisation).
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver information and establish relationships at senior levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership through influence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working-level proficiency in Italian language.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Direct experience implementing AWS services.
  • Self-motivated problem solver; able to thrive in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, respond to customer needs quickly and effectively, and adapt to change.
  • Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly.
  • Strong listening skills; demonstrated ability to ask effective questions.
  • AWS or other cloud certifications.
  • PMP and/or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certified.
  • Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with precise attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with assisting customers' journey to the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc).
  • Previous experience in Cloud Migrations from either Legacy Tech (Mainframe, DBs (DB2 or Oracle, etc) or with Windows and VMware.
  • Previous experience with Partners (System Integrators or ISVs or MSP).
