Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in a key role that will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our AST ITA Plant. The successful candidate will be accountable for customer management, operational management, quality performance, engineering, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the safe and efficient operation of the plant, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and standards.
  • Quality Performance
    • Lead the implementation of quality management systems and processes to ensure continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Engineering
    • Manage and maintain plant equipment and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental Management
    • Develop and implement strategies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, as well as compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of 20+ staff, including training and development to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Business Performance
    • Develop and implement business plans to achieve commercial and business objectives, including LEAN, 5S, Sustainability, and One Team One Goal strategies.

Requirements

  • Education
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 5 or more years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Proven leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
