About the Team

The Asset Finance division at Jobs for Humanity offers a comprehensive, integrated solution designed to operate on a single database, ensuring scalability across a diverse range of asset finance operations and activities.

Role Overview

The Business Consultant role involves typical responsibilities associated with a highly skilled consultant, combined with a solid technical background. You will collaborate closely with clients, development teams, and consulting professionals to deliver tailored implementations and projects that address specific organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing Asset Finance solutions at client locations
  • Evaluating client requirements and configuring systems to meet those needs, identifying gaps, and guiding the implementation process
  • Overseeing data onboarding, conversion, and reconciliation
  • Ensuring the Asset Finance process accommodates the entire contract lifecycle
  • Engaging with all facets of the client's operations from origination to contract management, accounting, collections, asset management, and contract conclusion
  • Training client personnel
  • Addressing relevant IT challenges
  • Collaborating with the development team to clarify specifications, gather information, or respond to specific inquiries to meet market or client demands
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (potentially 70%+)
  • Communicating effectively with all organizational levels, from users to client executives
  • Providing second-level support as part of the combined Professional/Customer Service team
  • Managing project-related issues until resolution

Candidate Profile

  • Ability to navigate situations perceived as crises, steering towards positive outcomes
  • Skill in managing client expectations and delivering updates and plans in a manner that secures client support
  • Collaborative approach when working with fellow consultants
  • Hands-on consultant who actively engages in tasks rather than merely overseeing
  • Self-sufficient, able to assess situations and seek assistance when necessary
  • Flexibility to work hours that may extend beyond standard business times

Business Knowledge

The ideal candidate will possess experience in:

  • The leasing, retail banking, or lending sectors
  • Direct competitors such as IDS, Alfa, etc., implementing relevant solutions
  • Broader banking solutions, even if specific leasing and lending experience is not present
  • Consulting for potential clients in the leasing and lending sectors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Asset Finance solutions
  • Proficiency in SQL and XML is advantageous
  • Accounting qualifications or experience in leasing or lending
  • IT skills, particularly in database management and report writing tools like Crystal Reports
