Job Title: Contract Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Engineer to join our team at Tecnimont. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager in the management of contractual relationships with clients and partners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of contract documents, including scope of work, queries, and deviations submitted during the tendering phase.
  • Have a clear understanding of the contract price breakdown and project time schedule.
  • Support the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager in preparing tools for project execution, including the contract diagram, contract induction support material, contract execution plan, contract risk analysis, and contract management report.
  • Assist in preparing draft communications concerning contractual issues.
  • Support the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager in keeping records of cases where clients and partners do not fulfill their contractual obligations.
  • Assist in identifying and preparing change orders to be issued to clients and partners using the Alert Cards system.
  • Support the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager in keeping updated the status of change orders.
  • Assist in analyzing negative change orders issued by clients and partners and preparing required replies.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager in risk analysis activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering, economics, or law.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational and complex business context.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • High flexibility and teamwork attitude.
  • Fluent English speaker and writer.
