Strategic Trade Manager

The ideal candidate will work closely with Sales Managers to define supply optimization practices, routes to market analysis, and targeted pharmacy relationships. This role will also collaborate with Pricing Managers to develop commercial strategies, including discount policy development and implementation.
Main Responsibilities- Contribute to Commercial Policy Definition: Work with Area Managers to ensure best practice is adopted and implemented effectively, and review policies at least annually to ensure they continue to achieve stated aims.
- Identify Revenue Growth Opportunities: Collaborate with sales force and marketing to identify opportunities to increase domestic revenue and market share from new or amended trading routes.
- Implement Supply Optimization Processes: Work with cross-functional teams to implement agreed supply optimization processes across all departments and products.
- Manage Quotas and Extraordinary Orders: Ensure quotas are implemented efficiently in line with legally approved processes, and monitor and supply extraordinary orders in line with approved processes.
- Communicate with Impacted Parties: Manage communication with all impacted parties to ensure compliance with legal requirements for supply optimization.
- Highlight Supply and Demand Imbalances: Identify imbalances of supply and demand across all products and highlight them to country management and the international team so appropriate action can be taken.
- Economics Degree: Required, with an MBA being a plus.
- Previous Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in the pharma or medical device industry.
- Technical Skills: Good computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as good knowledge of English.
- Location: Based in Rome or Naples.
