About the Role

The Internal Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in establishing and developing sales for the assigned market. The primary objective is to maximize business opportunities and foster strong relationships with customers, enabling and expanding Alfa Laval's sales and product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Process Support: Provide technical process selection preparation, sizing validation, size proposal, and metallurgy checks, among other tasks, to ensure accurate and efficient solutions for customers.
  • Colleague Support and Mentorship: Mentor and support colleagues in sizing heat exchangers correctly for industrial process applications, promoting a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing.
  • Project Office Collaboration: Collaborate with the Project Office in the main factory and other relevant departments to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing them with tailored solutions and support to meet their needs.
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, promote Alfa Laval's heat exchanger technology, and generate CRM offers to drive sales growth.
Requirements
  • Formal Education: A technical background in chemical process engineering is essential.
  • Skills and Experience: Proven sales experience in project-oriented businesses, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand customer decision-making processes.
  • Attitudes and Abilities: Fast reaction times, ability to take initiative, open-mindedness, and a willingness to think critically and suggest improvements.
