About the Role

The Internal Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in establishing and developing sales for the assigned market. The primary objective is to maximize business opportunities and foster strong relationships with customers, enabling and expanding Alfa Laval's sales and product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Process Support: Provide technical process selection preparation, sizing validation, size proposal, and metallurgy checks, among other tasks, to ensure accurate and efficient solutions for customers.
  • Colleague Mentorship: Mentor and support colleagues in sizing heat exchangers correctly for industrial process applications, promoting a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Office in the main factory and other relevant teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Development: Develop the market through promotion and conversion to Alfa Laval heat exchanger technology, identifying and capitalizing on present and future opportunities for customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate customer information, track sales cases, and coordinate efforts among Alfa Laval employees to achieve target sales and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Formal Education: A technical background in chemical process engineering is essential.
  • Skills and Experience: Proven sales experience with customers in project-oriented businesses, excellent communication skills, and the ability to anticipate customer decisions.
  • Attitudes and Abilities: Fast reaction times, ability to take initiative, open-mindedness, and a positive attitude towards teamwork and data-driven decision making.
