JOB TITLE: R&D HV NWC Testing Engineer

Business Area: HV-EHV NWC

Purpose of Recruitment: To enhance the success rate of qualifications in response to the increasing demand for projects and the expansion of our team's capacity.

Role Overview: This position involves daily responsibilities focused on product qualification at various stages.

The engineer will conduct product qualifications during different phases, which includes defining product design, consolidating technical documentation (such as drawings and assembly instructions), assessing customer requests, validating component performance, developing qualification test protocols, ensuring component availability, and coordinating with testing laboratories.

Key Challenges in this Role:

  • Collaborating with all departments including R&D, Operations, Systems Engineering, Testing Laboratories, and Quality Assurance.
  • Managing projects to ensure all qualification programs are completed according to the established timeline.
  • Ensuring compatibility between accessories and power cables through a systematic approach.

Success Metrics for this Role (KPI's/SLA's/Targets):

  • Contributing to the success rate of all qualification initiatives.
  • Ensuring the readiness and quality of accessories for systems undergoing qualification.
  • Minimizing non-conformities and claims related to accessories in the qualification process.

Candidate Profile:

Essential Skills and Experience (Must Haves):

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Physics, Energy).
  • Relevant Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools and FEM Analysis.
  • Knowledge of standardization processes.
  • Understanding of materials (metallurgy, compounds, thermal ratings).
  • Familiarity with technology (product and process).
  • Experience with testing (magnetism, electrical, mechanical).
  • Background in product development and innovation.
  • Basic knowledge of installation (HV system design, electromagnetic fields).
