Job Overview

Ferrero is a leading global confectionery company with a rich history and a strong commitment to innovation and quality. We are seeking a highly skilled Production Scheduler to join our team as a Plant Operating Planning Specialist in Alba, Italy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Define optimal production sequences for each line, considering technological and costing constraints.
  • Ensure planning feasibility from a packing perspective and develop a replenishment plan for the short term, optimizing stock levels.
  • Define and monitor long-term replenishment, forecasting needs towards suppliers.
  • Determine manpower requirements for production lines under responsibility.
  • Stay up-to-date on production factors influencing output, such as CPK, constraints, and maintenance periods.
  • Manage end-of-life cycles for finished goods and materials to minimize leftovers.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs and results for product references, developing actions for continuous improvement.
Requirements

We are looking for a junior professional with about 2 years of experience in production scheduling or similar activities. A Master's Degree in a relevant field, such as Management or Industrial Engineering and Economics, is required. Proficiency in both Italian and English languages is essential, as is strong organizational and analytical skills, combined with the ability to use Excel and other tools.
