Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Luxury Architecture and Store Facility Director to join our dynamic team in Milan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage store openings and projects from due-diligence to final delivery, ensuring concept guidelines and local requirements are respected.
  • Work closely with the regional business unit, Global Architecture team, and Kering departments to renovate existing or develop new stores, focusing on high-profile projects.
  • Collaborate on sourcing strategies and manage local consultant teams for successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate activities of the Store Maintenance Team.
  • Report directly to Country CEO and functionally to the Global Architecture Director.
Main Assignments
  • Prepare due diligence & feasibility studies to evaluate locations, estimate budgets, and timings.
  • Collaborate with Legal Dept. for contract definition and analysis.
  • Collect start-up information from corporate and local parties necessary to develop designs in accordance with company standards.
  • Coordinate with global design teams for design preparation and review in all project phases.
  • Organise and facilitate regional reviews with internal and external parties.
  • Manage and report project costs and scheduling developments according to regional and global guidelines.
  • Organise and manage consultants for necessary documentation for construction, permitting, and compliance.
  • Manage procurement and orders of materials and equipment.
  • Review project documentation to ensure compliance with design, contractual, and compliance standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate architectural and construction activities for store renovations or creations.
  • Facilitate handover to retail teams and support successful project completion.
  • Manage and archive project documentation.
  • Support regional and global analysis and strategies.
  • Collaborate on Facility and Maintenance plan formulation and progress.
  • Coordinate with Facility dept on store network developments.
  • Facilitate training on store design evolution and development.
Requirements
  • Degree in Architecture or Engineering.
  • 8-10 years experience in similar positions and luxury retail.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent scheduling skills, project phasing, and project rollouts experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Multitasking, quickly shifting between design creativity and administration/management.
  • Extremely organised, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent understanding of design drawings and project documentation.
  • Familiarity with standard quality means, methods, and materials in construction and millwork for luxury environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is approximately €120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
