About the Role

As a Senior Account Manager at Palo Alto Networks, you will play a critical role in driving and orchestrating large, complex sales cycles. You will work closely with internal partners and teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify business challenges and create solutions for prospects and customers
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position Palo Alto Networks' solutions
  • Develop and execute detailed territory plans to achieve sales goals and forecasts
  • Leverage prospect stories to create compelling value propositions and insights into value for specific accounts
  • Stay up-to-date on industry news and trends and their impact on Palo Alto Networks' products and services
  • Travel as necessary within your territory and to company-wide meetings
Requirements
  • Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or Security industry - SASE technology is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
  • Technical aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
  • Ability to identify problems, review data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions
  • Cultivate relationships with channel partners to bring a channel-centric go-to-market approach for customers
  • Ability to take a holistic approach to problem-solving by understanding the bigger picture and considering complex interrelationships and outcomes
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction
