Account Manager Job Description


At Deliveroo, our Account Management team plays a vital role in overseeing relationships with key grocery partners. As we continue to grow, we become a significant revenue channel for grocers, offering not only excellent support but also data-driven insights and industry expertise to drive partner growth.


The Account Manager will report to the Client Partner Grocery and be responsible for:



  • Managing a portfolio of Deliveroo's most important grocery partners, including high-volume drivers and global brands.
  • BUILDING and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with grocery partners.
  • Understanding partners' business goals and challenges to provide strategic guidance and support.
  • Collaborating with other departments (Marketing, Operations, Corporate, and Customer Service) to develop and implement customized solutions to meet partners' needs.
  • Driving revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for partners, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements


To succeed in this role, you should have:



  • At least 4 years of experience in commercial roles, preferably in retail/GDO or high-growth companies as an Account Manager.
  • Knowledge of the food retail industry.
  • Experience creating long-term relationships.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Competency in using tools and related program management applications to apply best practices.
