About the Role

Ferrari is seeking a highly skilled Sensor & Application Engineering Specialist to join our R&D team in Maranello, Italy. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing novel sensing strategies at vehicle level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Optimize Sensing Solutions: Design, develop, and integrate complex electronic systems and novel sensing solutions at vehicle level.
  • Optimize Performance and Cost: Analyze and optimize existing sensing solutions to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other R&D departments to collect requirements and provide solutions within project constraints.
  • Support Hardware and Software Development: Assist in the development and debug of components featuring complex electronic sub-systems.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or PhD in Electronics, Computer Science, or Automation Engineering
  • 5+ Years of Experience in Mixed Signal Electronics
  • Strong Technical Project Management Skills
  • Decision Making and Accountability
  • Embedded Systems, Communication Busses, and FW Development Knowledge
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Equipment and Test Automation
