We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in South Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in our Portable Air Division to drive the growth of portable sustainability solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver the most sustainable product for tough applications with a special focus on portable electric compressors, dryers, and nitrogen generators in different market segments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, and achieve sustainable growth for the company via our sustainability solutions.
- Drive the growth of our portable air business across Italy, Spain, and Portugal, focusing on portable electric compressors, dryers, and nitrogen generators.
- Enhance product and application knowledge through hands-on training and customer visits.
- Collaborate with the Business Line Manager (BLM), General Manager (GM), and Marketing Team to create a comprehensive potential plan in alignment with divisional guidelines.
- Identify and explore new application areas for portable air solutions.
- Partner with area sales managers to capitalize on these opportunities.
- Develop and implement a competitive pricing strategy in collaboration with BLMs.
- Translate and integrate divisional strategies into local business development plans for sustainable products.
- Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, or other technical area or equivalent training and education.
- Minimum of five years of sales management experience, including field sales and territory management of Portable Compressor products.
- Knowledge and sales experience with electric compressors, dryers, and nitrogen generators is advantageous.
- Proactive in identifying new prospects and developing new customers.
- Strong product management and sales management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and facilitation skills.
- Technical expertise in compressed air and a deep understanding of the market.
- Strong entrepreneurial skills and analytical abilities.
- Financial acumen.
- Proficiency in English.
