Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the month-end processes for the hotel, ensuring accurate and timely closure of the books.
- Manage the financial day-to-day operations, including revenue processing, accounts payable, and payroll.
- Develop and implement financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in monthly reporting, including P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
- Ensure compliance with finance policies and procedures.
- Support business partners in building accurate and timely financial reports.
- Reconcile revenues between systems and investigate any variances.
- Manage procurement platform, including PO approval and margin performance analysis.
- Produce robust cash flow forecasts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheets.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure accurate financial reporting and budget adherence.
- Finalist or fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of daily, weekly, and monthly finance and operating procedures in a hotel or restaurant environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Food and Beverage procurement systems, and Epos systems.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to 'translate' financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
