Our Vision
We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller specializing in Marketing and Communications to spearhead our finance team's efforts in managing investments related to marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in return on investment (ROI) analysis and demonstrate exceptional budget oversight capabilities. Your contributions will be vital in maximizing marketing expenditures to foster company growth while ensuring accountability and strategic allocation of resources.
Key Responsibilities
Formulate and oversee a detailed budget for all marketing and communication endeavors, guaranteeing efficient and effective allocation of resources. Perform comprehensive ROI assessments for marketing campaigns, measuring success against financial targets and providing actionable insights. Develop and sustain financial models to project the results of marketing efforts and evaluate their profitability. Implement robust systems and processes for accurately tracking marketing expenses and their respective returns. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to grasp campaign goals, design suitable financial tracking systems, and report on financial outcomes. Deliver thorough financial reports on marketing and communication projects to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders. Identify and pursue opportunities for cost efficiencies and performance enhancements within the marketing budget. Utilize financial insights to influence marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with the organization's broader financial objectives. Serve as the financial steward for marketing and communication expenditures, ensuring adherence to internal controls and external regulations. Mentor the marketing team on the financial implications of their strategies, promoting a culture of financial responsibility.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; specialization in Marketing Finance is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a finance role with a strong focus on marketing budgeting and ROI analysis. Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting with an emphasis on marketing investments. Proven history of effectively managing marketing budgets and delivering insightful financial analysis to inform business decisions. Outstanding analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Strong understanding of financial principles and marketing performance metrics. Advanced skills in Excel, financial planning software, and familiarity with marketing analytics tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
