Business Development Manager Italy

Are you a sales professional with a passion for building automation and a knack for developing new business opportunities?
We're looking for a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in Italy.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the building automation sector.
Your primary goal will be to develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, and to identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Continuous analysis and identification of potential projects
- Development and elaboration of a joint strategy considering the respective customer needs
- Creation of presentations and proposals for construction projects as well as negotiation of contracts and conditions
- Organization and conduct of product presentations and workshops with customers
- Intensive support and supervision of existing projects
- Continuous relationship management as well as identification of future joint projects
Requirements:
- Completed apprenticeship or degree (college/university) in the fields of electrical, energy, or automation engineering, mechatronics, or business informatics/engineering
- Several years of professional experience in business development, (key) account management, or sales management
- Persistence, high consulting competence, and communication skills
- Innovative, agile, and sales-oriented personality with a hands-on mentality
- Limited willingness to travel, as most appointments take place virtually
- Fluently in Italian and really good English skills
