We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Kuehne + Nagel AS. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the efficient flow of goods, and maintaining a safe and secure work environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the planning, organization, and supervision of all operation activities related to your specific department.
  • Collaborate with the Site Manager, System Management team, and Customer Service team to apply the warehouse operation's strategy and achieve business goals.
  • Develop and implement operational actions to pursue the achievement of warehouse and business goals, while ensuring the safety and security of all managed workforce, equipment, and property.
  • Monitor and pursue KPIs achievement related to assigned areas of management and productivity, empowering teams to deliver against their KPIs.
  • Make recommendations to the Site Manager to improve program operations and develop procedures to ensure efficient operation and utilization of all operating equipment.
Your Skills and Experiences:
  • 2-5 years' experience in large-scale, highly automated fulfillment operations, preferably in eCommerce, Fashion, or Retail.
  • Solid exposure to analytical and metric-oriented work contexts, with a deep predisposition for people engagement and respect of safety rules.
  • Experience in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers, subordinates, and leadership in operational and fast-paced work environments.
  • Expertise in people management related to small/medium-size teams, preferably in logistics and/or productive work environments, with a focus on people engagement and development.
  • Practice with PL and budget management related to medium/large-size automated warehouses.
