Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to join our team as the Head of Digistat Core. As a key member of our Software Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and operation of our Digistat software product.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to teammates, ensuring the highest standards of software quality within the team.
- Software Development: Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications.
- Requirements Gathering: Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, estimates, and work plans.
- Documentation: Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
- Peer Review: Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
- Release Deployment: Support the V&V team in the deployment of releases.
- Integration Development: Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze and provide guidance in solving technical and application problems.
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.
- Support: Provide third-level support to business users.
- Research and Evaluation: Research and evaluate a variety of software products.
- Software Development Experience: Strong work experience in software development.
- Team Leadership: Experience managing developer teams of more than 3 persons.
- Software Design and Development: Understanding of software design and development.
- Education: Business and technical education, with a Master/Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience/track record in software engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proven technical skills.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in a minimum of 2 languages, both oral and written (English mandatory).
- Writing Skills: Strong writing skills, able to express ideas clearly in short, easy-to-read texts.
- Innovative Mindset: Innovator with a creative mindset.
- Communication Skills: Structured and clear communicator.
