Job Description

The Molecular Diagnostic Market Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the promotion and increasing the value of Werfen solutions for the business line.

Within the Molecular Diagnostic Marketing team, this individual implements a specific marketing plan for the local market and guarantees continuous support for Sales Management both in pre- and post-sales activities to reach company targets and objectives.

  • Supports the launch of new products of the business line.
  • Provides all necessary and up-to-date marketing information and tools (e.g., presentations, HTA tools) to the Sales department to assist them in achieving business goals.
  • Creates and keeps up to date documentation of business line and promotional material (e.g., scientific posters, brochures, flyers).
  • Consults scientific literature regarding Werfen products and competitors.
  • Prepares technical documentation needed for tenders and offers.
  • Designs, plans, organizes, and facilitates training courses and/or clinical training programs both internally (for Sales department) and externally (for Customers and End-users).
  • Collects information in scientific events (congresses, seminars, symposia) to identify and involve key opinion leaders and to reinforce the value of the product and innovative scientific trends.
  • In collaboration with the Communication Team, plans, organizes, promotes, and actively participates in scientific events sponsored by Werfen to strengthen the Werfen brand and solutions.
  • Contributes to maintaining and developing a network of Key Opinion Leaders in the areas of responsibility.
  • Visits customers for feedback gathering and troubleshooting of Werfen solutions.
