Sales Engineering Leadership Opportunity
In this pivotal role, you will shape the next generation of talent for Emerson's Test & Measurement Business Unit. As Sales Engineering Manager, your coaching will instill sales and technical best practices, cultivating a high-performing, enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial team of engineers.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to the SDE team, refining skills and achieving targets.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, encouraging best practices and professional growth.
- Enable connections to the larger NI organization, including sales, FAE, customer operations, and field marketing.
- Support the creation and implementation of individual business plans, aligned with regional Account Plans.
- Facilitate technical growth around product, solution, and business units.
- Maintain a productive handshake with the marketing organization around overall lead performance and improvements.
- Self-start processes for acceleration of business creation, knowledge, SDE engagement, or other improvements.
- Build trust with employees and support career guidance for the next step after SDE.
- Identify and hire new SDEs, cultivating talent for Emerson's Test & Measurement Business Unit.
About You:
You attract and select diverse and high-caliber talent. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You reward team efforts and encourage the sharing of team wins.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will typically have + years of successful sales or sales management experience in the field of test and measurement, with demonstrated impact in Field Sales, Inside Sales, or Business Development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with new college graduates is preferred.
