Ascendis Pharma is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to become part of our expanding team as a Patient Experience Coordinator.

Having successfully launched our first groundbreaking product in key markets, we are poised for rapid growth across Europe. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the launch of our endocrinology pipeline and contribute significantly to our commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the field-based medical representative for Ascendis Medical Affairs, enhancing the company's visibility within the scientific community and raising awareness of relevant disease states.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key organizations to support collaborative initiatives aimed at improving patient care.
  • Deliver informative medical and scientific presentations to stakeholders, and provide assistance at medical congresses and other events, including onboarding and training for team members.
  • Collect and disseminate insights regarding disease states, the Ascendis portfolio, and competitor activities to internal teams.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships, aid in the development and execution of strategic objectives, and maintain high levels of medical expertise while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and corporate policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical setting in a Field Clinical/Medical Role, with a minimum of a Master’s degree in a Health Science discipline.
  • Background in pediatric endocrinology, endocrinology, or rare diseases.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey scientific and clinical information in both Italian and English, in virtual and in-person environments.

Travel Requirements: This position is field-based, with an estimated travel commitment of over 80%.
