As a Data Analytics Specialist for the Global Procurement and Supply Chain Transformation function at Amplifon Group, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and improvement through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities- Identify current needs of the PSC functions in terms of basic and advanced data analytics, and develop an integrated plan to implement the required analytics on a suitable platform.
- Develop and adopt advanced analytics methods and approaches to extract insights and potential new areas of value creation from business data.
- Perform analysis and build data-driven models to allow sound and effective business decision-making.
- Create hypotheses and experiments to identify non-explicit relationships among business phenomena, allowing the design of new tactics and strategies.
- Provide different functions with constant and continuous access to data and reporting to deliver their value constantly and without disruptions.
- Prepare presentations and communication tools supported by data-driven recommendations.
- Further develop a data-driven culture within and outside the function by creating and adopting a common language, common tools, and best practices around data handling and usage.
- Degree in quantitative fields like Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Computing, or Engineering.
- 2-5 years of expertise in managing complex structures of data.
- Fluency in English.
- A strong passion for data analysis combined with attention to business impacts.
- Strong analytical skills, mathematical abilities, and business acumen.
- Critical thinking, clear and open communication, relational and team-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to share information.
- Excellent knowledge of the Office package, with advanced expertise in Excel (pivot, macro, statistics formulas).
- Excellent knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge of R or Python is preferred.
- Nice to have: knowledge of PowerBI, SSRS, DataIku.
