About the Role

MSC Cruises is a leading global cruise brand, and we're looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure & Operations Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our digital transformation and ensuring the successful delivery of our Infrastructure & Operations transformation program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Work closely with Business and IT Program and Project Directors to ensure programs are delivered against agreed deliverables, time, quality, and cost.
  • Hybrid Cloud Transformation: Lead hybrid cloud transformation and adoption programs and projects, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
  • IT Operations Transformations: Drive IT Operations transformations, including Agile, DevOps, AIOps, and NoOps, and their adoption programs and projects.
  • Change Management: Develop and implement effective change management strategies to ensure a smooth transition to new processes and technologies.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Plan and lead communication strategies for IT Infrastructure & Operations activities, ensuring seamless communication between all programs and projects teams, key stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Risk Management: Implement and manage the risk management plan for IT Infrastructure & Operations, addressing and supporting recovery of risks and issues.
  • Quality Control: Oversee quality control of IT Operations & Infrastructure programs and projects, and enforce a phase-by-phase gate-keeping process.
  • Benefits Realization: Ensure the benefits of programs and projects are realized and tracked using KPIs.
Requirements
  • Fluency in English: Fluency in English (oral and written), and proficiency in another European language is a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another technical field, and at least 5 to 7 years of work experience in a primary consulting firm or the IT department of large corporations.
  • Hybrid Cloud Transformation Experience: Substantial experience in hybrid cloud transformation and adoption programs and projects.
  • IT Operations Transformations Experience: Significant experience in IT Operations transformations (such as Agile, DevOps, AIOps, NoOps, etc.) and their adoption programs and projects.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence others and work with cross-functional internal and external teams.
  • Program and Project Management Skills: Ability to work with multiple programs and projects simultaneously, and skilled in collaboration, program and project management, process improvement, and service improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to succinctly communicate complex information and concepts.
