About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Assistant to join our team at SEGULA Technologies. As an HSE Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our clients and employees.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental processes, procedures, and guidelines on construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and create plans to mitigate them.
- Ensure all safety equipment is in good working condition and available for use by employees.
- Develop emergency response plans for natural disasters, fire risks, chemical spills, and other potential hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of accidents and injuries to track trends and improve safety measures.
- Collaborate with the HSE Manager to ensure compliance with federal, state, and international regulations.
- Monitor the work environment to ensure it is safe for employees to work.
- Conduct thorough investigations into accidents to determine causes and implement corrective actions.
- Support the HSE Manager in all safety and environmental matters.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Hygiene, or a related field.
- Construction site experience is essential.
- Previous experience in the HSE Assistant role and knowledge of industry standards and guidelines.
- Fluent English and Italian language skills.
